Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,790 - $1,920
• Location: Morristown, NJ (07960) — New Jersey radiology jobs, near New York City
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 29, 2026)
• Facility Size: 900 beds
• Shift: Nights 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating 7-week schedule, no call
• Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 39 hours/week
• Employment Type: Travel Radiology, On-Site
• Modality / Equipment: GE imaging systems, diagnostic imaging, portable X-ray

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Tech / Radiology Technician or Radiologic Technologist
• Experience with GE imaging equipment and diagnostic imaging workflows
• Comfortable working independently and providing OR imaging support
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school
• Active New Jersey State RT License
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Strong initiative, analytical skills, and excellent communication for multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with clinical practice trends, healthcare informatics, and electronic imaging systems

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams (radiographs/portable X-ray) in accordance with state, federal, and professional radiology guidelines
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and assess safety of GE imaging equipment and accessories
• Coordinate daily imaging schedules and prioritize urgent trauma or OR imaging needs
• Document exams accurately in the radiology information system (RIS) and assist with PACS workflows
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging care
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and quality assurance protocols
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the radiology department
