Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910 - $2010
• Location: Dillon, MT 59725 (Dillon, Montana travel nursing job)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 21, 2026 – August 20, 2026)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, varied shifts with required call (on-call rotations)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 34 per week (exempt during holiday weeks)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN (Operating Room)

Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (current in state or compact license as applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience (perioperative experience required)
• Current nursing certification(s) as required by facility
• BLS certification (required)
• Ability to take scheduled call and participate in on-call rotations
• Preferred: CNOR or other perioperative certifications, ACLS if applicable

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist during surgical procedures as a perioperative nurse (scrub and circulating duties as needed)
• Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgery; advocate for patient safety
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain sterile technique, set up surgical instruments and equipment, and ensure proper infection control
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call rotations
• Document patient assessments, intraoperative events, and postoperative care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
