Travel RN — Med/Surg nights at a Level I Trauma Center in Peoria, IL. 13-week assignment, $2,130–$2,250/week. Join a dynamic healthcare team providing acute adult medical-surgical care in a modern facility serving a diverse patient population.

• Location: Peoria, IL (61637) — Peoria healthcare / Illinois nursing jobs
• Setting: Adult Medical Specialty Unit (Acute Care Gen-Med) at a Level I Trauma Center
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 05/11/2026 – End: 08/10/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week — Med/Surg night shift, travel nursing job
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (3 shifts per week)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Dress Code: Any color professional scrubs

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (or application in progress) — Illinois nursing jobs preferred
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in acute care
• Clinical experience managing central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes
• EPIC charting experience preferred (EPIC experience valued in Peoria healthcare settings)
• Travel RN experience preferred; clinicians with Level I Trauma Center or high-acuity Med/Surg experience will be considered
• Negative drug screen required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with acute medical conditions (cellulitis, sepsis, dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, syncope, anemia, diabetes, respiratory or organ failure, behavioral health, addictions)
• Manage and monitor central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes with appropriate documentation
• Use EPIC for accurate charting, orders, and care plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, physicians, and patient care technicians
• Float as needed to other acute care gen-med areas (nephrology, neuro, ortho, oncology) to support unit needs
• Complete unit orientation (typically 2–3 shifts) and adhere to facility policies and professional dress code
