Job Details
- Location: Boston, MA 02111 — Downtown Boston healthcare / Massachusetts cath lab job
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (6/1/2026 – 8/31/2026)
- Shift: 10-hour days, 7:30am – 6:00pm, 4 days per week
- Call: 1 weekday call per week, 1 full weekend call per month (must respond within 30 minutes)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 – $2,670 (competitive pay for travel cath lab technologist)
- Setting: Acute Care Hospital — Cardiac Cath Lab (cardiac catheterization / angiography)
- Job Type: Travel Cath Lab Technologist / Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, Cath Lab Tech, or in a related procedural/cardiac catheterization environment
- Valid ARRT, CT, or RCIS certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred; experience with MERGE, GE, AGFA with IVUS is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with fluoroscopy/X-ray operation, angiography, and sterile technique
- Familiarity with IVUS, PCI support, and emergent pacing procedures preferred
- Ability to reliably respond to call within 30 minutes
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and attention to documentation accuracy in the EMR
Key Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray/fluoroscopy equipment during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field, procedure table, and case-specific supplies
- Support a range of procedures including CAD interventions, advanced heart failure cases, pre/post cardiac transplant, and emergent pacer placements
- Manage and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, inventory, and case setups
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiac team to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document procedures, patient data, and imaging details in the EMR
- Participate reliably in scheduled call rotation for the cardiac cath lab
