Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340 – $2,510
• Assignment Duration: 20 weeks (Start: 5/18/2026 – End: 10/3/2026)
• Setting: Level 3 Trauma Center, 123-bed community hospital (radiology / medical imaging department)
• Shift: 12-hour days (typically Sat-Mon, 8:00am – 8:30pm; days may vary)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• On-Call: End of shift until following morning on Sat/Sun
• Scrub Color: Any color

Required Qualifications (MRI Technologist / MRI Tech)

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience (clinical medical imaging / radiology)
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification
• Washington state license
• BLS certification
• Experience with GE 1.5 MRI equipment (GE 1.5T experience preferred)
• IV start proficiency
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced trauma center
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform general MRI exams including MSK, body, neuro, cardiac, and trauma cases
• Manage a patient load of 15–20 MRI cases daily while maintaining high-quality imaging and safety
• Provide imaging care for ICU, ER, inpatient, outpatient, and minimal pediatric patients, including patients with altered mental status
• Operate MRI-related equipment including Altea MRI and Alaris IV pumps
• Respond professionally to sporadic combative patients and ensure patient and staff safety
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation and collaborate with radiology team members
