• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Location: Washington, IA 52353 — Washington, Iowa (Iowa nursing jobs, Washington healthcare)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (5AM – 5PM), weekend days
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel RN, Travel Registered Nurse, Emergency Department RN)

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (state of Iowa or compact RN license accepted where applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER/ED) nursing experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Ability to work 12-hour weekend day shifts and thrive in a fast-paced emergency department
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills for acute care and emergent presentations

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room / Emergency Department (ED RN responsibilities)
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and prioritization of patient needs in an acute care setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per orders and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and discharge instructions accurately and efficiently
• Educate patients and families on care plans, follow-up, and outpatient resources
