Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Location: Newton, IA (50208) — Des Moines area, Iowa travel nursing opportunity
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 25, 2026 – July 24, 2026)
• Setting: Emergency Room (ER) — emergency nursing, acute care
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) — night shift ER RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Employment Type: Travel / Travel RN

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Emergency Room specialty required)
• At least 1 year of recent ER nursing experience
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Additional health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, 2 Step PPD or IGRA)
• Physical/Health Statement
• Background check and competency testing
• Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa requirement)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room — emergency nursing, acute care, and triage
• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute and urgent conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions and critical care support as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices in emergency nursing
