• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,010 – $1,060 (competitive travel LPN pay)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LPN or LVN license
• At least 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg (medical-surgical) setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• IV Certification (peripheral IV therapy experience preferred)
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility (travel nursing eligibility)

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide delegated aspects of direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Perform medication administration, peripheral IV therapy, and basic wound care as delegated
• Conduct physical examinations, collect clinical data, and assist with ADLs
• Use critical thinking and clinical judgment to ensure safe delivery of care in a med/surg environment
• Implement physician orders, complete accurate documentation, and support discharge planning
• Delegate and supervise assigned personnel; provide clear direction and on-the-job coaching
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
