Job Details

• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) / Perioperative Nurse
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 - $1,970
• Location: Englewood, CO 80113 (Denver metro area)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM one day per week; weekend on-call once every 6 weeks

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care experience; perioperative/OR experience preferred
• Active RN license (Colorado license or compact RN license preferred)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Circulating and scrubbing experience preferred (scrub nurse / circulating nurse experience)
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• CNOR certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered perioperative care in the main OR, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes throughout surgical procedures
• Serve as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse for a variety of cases including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, orthopedic and spine surgeries, and hybrid suite procedures
• Maintain sterile technique, prepare instrumentation, and ensure equipment readiness for complex surgical cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including CSTs, PCTs, anesthesia techs, surgeons, and service line leads
• Communicate effectively with staff, providers, and patients to support a positive patient experience and efficient OR workflow
• Adapt to changing priorities, support quality improvement initiatives, and participate in scheduled on-call rotations
