We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel respiratory therapist assignment in the NICU/PICU respiratory unit. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,220 - $1,310
- Location: Miami, FL 33175 (Miami healthcare jobs, Florida respiratory jobs)
- Setting: Hospital – NICU/PICU Respiratory Unit
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 26, 2026 – August 25, 2026)
- Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36

Required Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
- Current NICU and/or PICU respiratory experience (neonatal respiratory care, pediatric respiratory care)
- Meditech documentation system experience preferred
- Strong teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability in fast-paced acute care settings
Key Responsibilities
- Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for neonatal and pediatric patients with respiratory diseases using advanced respiratory technologies
- Ventilator management and support including high-frequency ventilator (3100A), conventional ventilators (Servo), and other neonatal ventilator systems
- Operate equipment such as High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers
- Perform neonatal and pediatric respiratory procedures and therapies (BIPAP, CPT, nebulizer therapy) and may float to adult floors as needed
- Document patient care and interventions accurately in Meditech and maintain excellent charting practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (neonatology, pediatrics, nursing, and ancillary services) to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to department policies, infection control standards, and required uniform guidelines: Light Gray/Silver
