Travel Physical Therapist – Home Health position in Vero Beach, Florida (32960). Provide in-home rehab across Indian River, Saint Lucie, and Martin Counties while enjoying year-round sunshine and coastal living.

Job Details

• Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist / Home Health Physical Therapist
• Location: Vero Beach, FL (32960) – serving Indian River County, Saint Lucie County, and Martin County
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel PT (Home Health)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
• Guaranteed Hours: 32–40 hours/week
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• On Call/Weekend Requirement: None
• Travel: Required between patient homes (mileage reimbursed)
• Dress Code: Scrubs or slacks (any color)

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida (licensed PT Florida)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist with home health experience required
• Associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy (Physical Therapist degree)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between patient homes
• Strong documentation and assessment skills; HCHB EMR experience is a plus
• Comfortable working independently as a Home Health Physical Therapist and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality in-home physical therapy and rehabilitation services across Indian River, Saint Lucie, and Martin Counties
• Perform patient evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve function and mobility
• Provide patient and caregiver education to support home exercise programs and safe functional independence
• Document all visits and clinical outcomes in accordance with agency policies and regulatory standards (experience with HCHB EMR preferred)
• Coordinate care with nurses, therapists, and other care team members to ensure comprehensive home health care
• Travel between patient homes; mileage reimbursed. Maintain productivity expectations (30 points per week)
