• Assignment Type: Travel (travel surgical technologist / travel OR tech)
• Setting: Hospital – Operating Room (OR)
• Start Date: May 4, 2026
• End Date: August 3, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week (4x10s), on-call as required
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630 – $1,750

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Surgical Technologist / OR Technologist in a hospital setting
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Vascular, General Surgery, Urology, and Gynecology
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred; Certified or equivalent perioperative credential a plus
• BLS certification required
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation as needed
• Strong sterile technique, instrumentation knowledge, and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and the operating room team during a variety of surgical procedures as a scrub tech / OR technologist
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field and safe operating room environment
• Set up, inspect, and prepare surgical instruments, implants, and specialized equipment (including robotic setups when applicable)
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs and provide timely instrument/hand-offs during procedures
• Handle and label surgical specimens correctly and coordinate with pathology as required
• Participate in on-call coverage and support perioperative workflow and turnover efficiency
