Job Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required — critical care nurse or IMC experience preferred
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact license accepted or Texas RN license)
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Experience with ICU and IMC level care; LTACH nursing experience is a plus
First-time travel nurses are welcome — ideal for travel nurses seeking LTACH or ICU travel assignments

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality ICU care to complex, medically fragile patients in an LTACH setting
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform critical interventions
Work as a collaborative critical care nurse with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with LTACH and hospital standards
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges for critically ill patients
Participate in weekend coverage and unit staffing as scheduled
