• Setting: Pediatric Echo Unit, Acute Care Hospital (Children's Hospital unit)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 25, 2026
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (8-hour days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Sonographer (pediatric echocardiography or pediatric cardiac sonographer preferred)
• Valid ARDMS certification (or equivalent)
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) verification required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• Clean professional history with two professional references
• Experience with EPIC and ISCV charting systems (electronic medical record and echo reporting)
• Must have a driver's license with an address outside 50 miles from the facility (per travel policy)

Responsibilities

• Perform fetal and pediatric echocardiography scans (average 8 studies per day) using cardiac ultrasound techniques
• Operate Philips EPIQ7 equipment and maintain image quality standards for pediatric cardiac imaging
• Collaborate with the pediatric echo lead tech, pediatric cardiologists, and multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
• Complete inpatient echo studies within the Children's Hospital unit and follow departmental protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely charting using EPIC and ISCV systems
• Participate in department-specific orientation, follow hospital policies, and adhere to dress code guidelines
