Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) — 13-week assignment in Fergus Falls, MN. Seeking experienced L&D RNs with NRP and fetal monitoring certification for an acute care Labor & Delivery unit. Ideal Minnesota travel nurse opportunity in perinatal and maternal-newborn nursing.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,520 - $2,650
• Location: Fergus Falls, MN 56537 — Fergus Falls, Minnesota travel nurse opportunity
• Setting: Acute Care – Labor & Delivery Unit (L&D)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days, Friday to Sunday (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN
• Licensure: Active RN license required (Minnesota or compact state RN license accepted)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) nursing experience — obstetrics or perinatal nursing
• Active RN license in Minnesota or a valid compact state RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (AFM/IFM) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Experience with Allscripts or similar EHR charting systems preferred
• Strong assessment skills for maternal-newborn care, fetal monitoring, and postpartum management

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period
• Perform continuous and intermittent fetal and maternal monitoring using advanced fetal monitoring equipment
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and support physicians and midwives during labor and birth
• Stabilize and perform initial care for newborns, including neonatal resuscitation (NRP) when required
• Administer medications, manage epidural monitoring, and intervene for obstetric emergencies as needed
• Accurately document patient care and assessments using Allscripts EHR (or facility charting system)
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team — obstetricians, midwives, pediatric/neonatal staff, and unit leadership — to ensure optimal maternal and newborn outcomes
