Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 - $2,060
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
• Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week (variable start times)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technologist or Surgical Technologist (perioperative/OR experience)
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Ability to start within two weeks of the requested start date
• Strong knowledge of OR procedures, sterile technique, and surgical instrumentation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and perioperative problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities (OR / Scrub Tech Duties)

• Prepare the operating room and set up sterile instruments and supplies for surgical procedures
• Scrub and assist surgeons and perioperative nurses during operations as a scrub tech
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure proper handling, counting, and tracking of surgical instruments
• Anticipate surgical team needs, monitor case flow, and support intraoperative efficiency
• Support post-operative clean-up, instrument decontamination, and coordination with sterile processing
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care

Preferred (Optional)

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties (orthopedics, general, vascular, OB/GYN, etc.)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or other relevant certifications preferred
