• Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-site

Estimated Pay

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950 - $2,050

Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Florida or compact state eligible preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR experience; cardiac surgery nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Strong ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Familiarity with cardiovascular surgery instrumentation, sterile technique, and perioperative documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room as a CVOR RN
• Assist cardiothoracic surgeons and the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative changes during cardiac surgeries
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols specific to CVOR
• Accurately document perioperative and intraoperative patient care and surgical activities
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative assessments for cardiovascular surgery patients
