Travel Infusion RN — 13-week Oncology/Infusion contract in Attleboro, MA (02703). Seeking an experienced Oncology RN to provide safe chemotherapy and infusion therapies for adult and geriatric patients.

• Location: Attleboro, MA 02703 (southeastern Massachusetts; near Boston & Providence)
• Job Type: Travel Nurse / Infusion RN / Oncology RN
• Setting: Oncology/Infusion Unit — 12 beds (average daily census: 32)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00am–4:30pm or 9:00am–5:30pm)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,100–$2,210 (estimated)
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Orientation: 3–4 shifts with a preceptor

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts — MA license in hand required
• Minimum 2 years of recent infusion or oncology nursing experience (chemotherapy nurse experience required)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Certificate (required)
• OCN certification preferred
• Experience with Cerner and Intellidose documentation systems preferred
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical exemption for flu only)

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies following facility and ONS guidelines
• Access and manage ports, start and maintain IVs, and perform phlebotomy when indicated
• Monitor patients for side effects and complications (e.g., anaphylaxis, infusion reactions, tumor lysis syndrome) and respond appropriately
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, side-effect management, and safe handling of medications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, social services, and rapid response for coordinated oncology care
• Document all care accurately in Cerner and Intellidose systems and maintain compliance with documentation standards
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and neutropenic precautions
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain competency in infusion and oncology nursing practices
