Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of laboratory technician experience required in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting
• Preferred: MLT (ASCP or AMT) certification – Medical Laboratory Technician
• Associate's degree in laboratory science or MLT, or equivalent education and training
• Experience with EMR systems; MEDHOST preferred
• Ability to wear scrubs (any color)
• Strong critical thinking, judgment, and leadership skills for laboratory practice

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in one or more divisions to obtain accurate data used for diagnosis and treatment

• Demonstrate accountability and leadership in daily laboratory practice and shift responsibilities
