- Assignment Type: Travel / Contract
- Duration: Up to 26 weeks (start date: 5/18/2026)
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Shift: 4x10-hour days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), rotating late shifts; no weekends, no call
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,380 – $2,550
- Setting: Electrophysiology Lab / Cardiac EP Lab
- Charting / EMR: Epic
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Electrophysiology Lab experience required (EP Lab Tech, Cath Lab, or Cardiac Cath experience preferred)
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
- Credential: ARRT(R) with a Virginia state license OR CCI RCES/RCIS (CCI-certified technologists may not require a state license)
- Strong cardiac background with experience in EP mapping, sterile technique, EKG lead placement, rhythm monitoring, and device cases
- Familiarity with EP lab equipment: Fluoroscopy, Siemens, Philips, Ultrasound, Carto/EnSite mapping systems, CardioLab
- Epic charting experience preferred
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Per facility policy, candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (per driver's license address)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with advanced electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablation, EP mapping, and pacemaker/ICD implantation
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot specialized EP lab and imaging equipment (fluoro, mapping systems, ultrasound)
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias; collaborate with electrophysiologists and nursing staff
- Maintain sterile field, follow infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Prepare and verify equipment, supplies, and documentation before, during, and after procedures
- Document procedures accurately in Epic and ensure timely charting of patient data
- Participate in rotating late shifts as required for the assignment
