We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week travel nursing assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio (zip code 45219). Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience (Med/Surg Tele RN)
• Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Ability to provide age- and culturally-appropriate patient care across the adult lifespan
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Commitment to professional growth, adaptability, and evidence-based practice

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive, holistic assessments of physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs for Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; recognize and report abnormal cardiac data and changes in patient condition
• Provide timely, evidence-based interventions and delegate nursing actions appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team using effective handoff tools (e.g., SBAR)
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans in partnership with patients and families
• Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and self-care
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and maintain patient safety in the acute care environment
• Continuously evaluate nursing practice and patient outcomes to support quality improvement initiatives
