Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Night shift travel nursing position in Warrensville Heights, OH (44122) for experienced Telemetry RNs with ACLS/BLS.

Job Details

• Location: Warrensville Heights, OH 44122 (Cleveland area)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel assignment
• Start Date: May 27, 2026
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Shift: Night shift – 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (Telemetry RN / Med/Surg RN)

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (Telemetry nursing experience required)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (active, not pending)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in Med/Surg Tele specialty
• Must be able to work at least every other holiday during the contract
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit (Med/Surg RN responsibilities)
• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to telemetry changes, and implement appropriate interventions
• Provide advanced telemetry nursing assessments and escalate critical findings per protocol
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, techs, case management) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Accurately document patient care and telemetry events in the electronic medical record (EMR) in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care to support positive outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state nursing regulations, and quality improvement initiatives
