Job Details — Travel Nurse / OR RN

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 – $2,100 (Travel Nurse pay)
• Location: Willoughby, Ohio (44094) — close to Lake Erie
• Facility: Level III Trauma Center (trauma nursing, perioperative environment)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 2, 2026)
• Shift: 4x10 hour days, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call: 1–2 weekday call shifts per week and 1–2 weekend (24-hour) call shifts per month
• Employment Type: Travel / Contract (Travel Nurse, Perioperative Nurse)

Job Requirements — OR Nurse / Surgical RN

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (required)
• Minimum 1 year recent Operating Room RN experience; Level III Trauma Center or high-acuity perioperative nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• RN Surgery (Perioperative) certification or CNOR preferred
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation (weekday and weekend call)
• Completion of onboarding health and background requirements (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, TB/PPD, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement, Drug Screen, Fingerprints)
• Skills checklist and competency exam as required by the facility
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID

Primary Responsibilities — Perioperative / Surgical Nurse

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients in a fast-paced OR environment
• Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures: general, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, vascular, robotics, thoracic, urology, podiatry, and acute care surgery
• Actively collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, infection control, and perioperative safety protocols
• Respond promptly to emergent surgical needs while on-call and participate in the established on-call rotation
• Accurately document all perioperative patient care activities and handoffs in a timely manner
• Support, precept, and mentor less experienced staff and travel nurses as needed
