• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

• Shift: 12-hour nights (Travel Nurse)

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio or compact state (required)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (required); recent OB, ED, or critical care experience preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – must obtain prior to direct patient care
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – must obtain within 6 months of hire
• EKG exam required
• Ability to float between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units
• Navy blue scrubs required

Preferred Qualifications

• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (preferred)
• EPIC EHR experience (preferred)
• Experience with Obix and GE fetal monitoring systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide woman-, newborn-, and family-centered care in Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units as an L&D RN / OB nurse
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, create and implement individualized care plans, and educate patients and families
• Administer medications safely and coordinate multidisciplinary care within hospital departments
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to support excellent perinatal outcomes
• Care for patients during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and gynecological issues; support postpartum and breastfeeding education
• Float between L&D and Mother Baby units as needed to meet patient volume and staffing needs
• Circulate and recover C-sections (scrubbing is a bonus but not required) — experience with C-section recovery is a plus
• Utilize EPIC, Obix, and GE monitors for fetal monitoring and documentation
• Collaborate closely with midwives, OB laborists, anesthesia, and ancillary support staff to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain professionalism, compassion, and composure in high-stress clinical situations typical of labor & delivery
