• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Every other weekend
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/5/2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Setting: 24-bed high-acuity surgical intensive care unit

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ICU or telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification through AHA required
• Epic experience required
• Strong knowledge of medications and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Ability to succeed in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Must be comfortable with a day 1 pass/fail test

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to critically ill surgical patients in the SICU
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond quickly to evolving clinical needs
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver patient-centered care
• Support patients with complex needs related to general surgery, trauma, transplant, and cardiothoracic cases
• Administer medications safely and accurately while maintaining strong critical care judgment
• Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias and other acute changes in patient condition
• Document care thoroughly in Epic and maintain clear communication across the care team
• Contribute to a positive, fast-paced unit culture focused on quality outcomes and teamwork
