Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse – Albuquerque, NM

Travel to Northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico, for a 13-week Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse job caring for adult and geriatric patients on a supportive, team-oriented unit.

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or a compact license eligible prior to start
2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience with Epic charting required
Comfort caring for adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients
Ability to work weekends and float within scope
First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality bedside nursing care in a busy medical-surgical hospital setting
Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and support individualized care plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver coordinated care
Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in Epic
Respond promptly to changes in patient status and use critical thinking to prioritize care
Support safe unit flow while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered nursing care
