• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Patient Ratio: 2:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Floating: Required within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Location: Columbus, OH 43210

Job Requirements

• 2 years of ICU or Neuro ICU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Valid compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Strong skills in telemetry, ventilator management, IV starts, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Ability to manage complex neuro patients and adapt quickly in a high-acuity critical care setting
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult neurocritical care patients with complex neurological and post-operative conditions
• Monitor and manage patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, meningitis, traumatic brain injury, and post-neurosurgical needs
• Perform and assist with bedside procedures such as tracheostomy care, PEG-related care, central line and arterial line management, and EVD placement support
• Care for mechanically ventilated patients and support invasive neuromonitoring, including ICP and EVD monitoring
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and maintain safe, accurate documentation throughout the shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support high-quality, coordinated patient care
• Follow unit protocols, maintain infection prevention standards, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
