• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours total
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Orientation: 16 hours

Med/Surg Tele RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Pennsylvania
• At least 2 years of recent medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong telemetry monitoring and acute care patient assessment skills
• Travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established protocols
• Perform focused and comprehensive nursing assessments, document patient progress, and update care plans
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while promoting patient safety and evidence-based nursing practice
