Licensed Practical Nurse Job Requirements

Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
At least 6 months of adult medical-surgical nursing experience
Ability to provide nursing care across adult and geriatric patient populations
Strong patient assessment, care-planning, communication, and teamwork skills
Willingness to work required holidays

Adult Med/Surg LPN Responsibilities

Assess patients and contribute to individualized nursing diagnoses and care plans
Deliver and document total nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients
Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to appropriate care team members
Coordinate patient care with nurses, providers, ancillary departments, and other members of the healthcare team
Support safe, efficient care delivery while maintaining professional nursing standards
Provide compassionate care to patients with a range of medical and age-related needs
