Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week with every other weekend scheduling requirement
• 6-bed ICU unit with patient ratios of mainly 2:1, some 1:1 and 3:1
• 1 Nurse Tech available on unit for support
• Document using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to ICU overflow unit as needed
• Perform and assist with procedures including central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation
• Operate specialized equipment including Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• ICU experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills and communication skills required
• Required uniform: Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs

The ICU is equipped with the newest GE ICU monitors and is actively expanding its service lines and acuity levels. A newly approved ICU expansion is underway that will double the facility's ICU capability, offering an exciting and growing environment for critical care professionals.
