Opportunity:

OT - Outpatient Lymphedema

Job Details:

• Lymphedema certification required - hard stop requirement
• Georgia state license required
• Schedule options: 4x10s or 5x8s
• Available schedule: Monday/Wednesday 9:45 AM - 6:15 PM, Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Work in a hospital-based outpatient lymphedema setting within the outpatient rehabilitation department
• Collaborate regularly with OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs, and SLP teams as well as the wound care clinic
• Work with compression fitters and lymphedema vendors supporting the lymphedema patient population
• Treat patients ranging from adolescents and young/middle-aged adults to geriatrics with a mix of diagnoses including lymphedema care
• Daily patient census of 5-7 patients per day with a patient ratio of 5
• May float within facility scope of practice to acute care inpatient facility as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Charting experience using Epic required
• Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT, Lymphedema Certification
• Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• If one or two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work those holidays; if three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

The facility supports an interdisciplinary team environment where occupational therapists collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, wound care specialists, and lymphedema vendors to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The outpatient rehab department is well-equipped to serve patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics with a variety of diagnoses.
