Opportunity:

RN - Operating Room

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Three twelve-hour shifts per week with weekends required when possible
• 13-week assignment
• On-call is required, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week sign-up period (approximately 5-6 shifts every 4 weeks)
• Weekend position required; staff working during the week are required to take call as stated
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 11 OR suite facility with a variety of OR beds and equipment
• EMR system: Epic
• Perform and support procedures including total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and a variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, colorectal, general)
• Experience as a circulator required; candidates without this skill will not be considered
• Serve as a patient advocate as circulator while being a resource for the sterile field
• Experience as scrub technician preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience in Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro, and Robotics required
• Required certifications: Alaska RN license, BLS, ACLS
• Scrubs provided by facility

Facility:

This hospital is a full-service acute care facility offering a wide range of surgical and medical services. The operating room unit consists of 11 ORs staffed by a multidisciplinary team including RNs, scrub technicians, and surgical support technicians. The facility utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system and maintains a collaborative, team-oriented culture with a focus on positive patient outcomes.
