Opportunity:

Surgical Services - OR Tech

Job Details:

• 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Rotating day off schedule
• Call required with minimal call requirements of 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks
• 2 weekend shifts per contract
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Required specialty experience: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular, and Urology
• Preferred experience: Da Vinci Robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmology
• Required certification: BLS
• Procedures include but are not limited to: total joint replacement, craniotomy, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, carotid endarterectomy, laparoscopic assisted cases, cholecystectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, Whipple procedure, and more
• Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 14 operating rooms with a daily census of 45

Facility:

This facility is a well-equipped surgical services department featuring 14 operating rooms and a robust daily census of 45 cases. The operating room program supports a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, urology, and general surgery, with access to advanced robotic surgical technology. The facility maintains Trauma Level I capabilities and provides interdisciplinary support across multiple surgical disciplines.
