Opportunity:
OT (Home Health)
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour shifts with a varied start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• Treat 10-12 scheduled patients per day in 1:1 care settings
• Weekend requirements include 2 Saturdays (full day with a comp day during the week) and Sunday coverage for ortho or strokes within a 13-week assignment
• No holiday requirements, though volunteering is an option
• Cancellation policy allows up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Charting system: Cerner; Epic experience preferred
• Care settings include inpatient, outpatient, acute rehab unit, skilled nursing, and home health
• Common diagnoses include med surg, ICU, acute rehab (neuro, cardiac, ortho), joints, weakness, and pneumonia
• COTA support available to assist with throughput, turnover, and as a second set of hands when needed
• Dress code: Business casual for outpatient (khakis and polo)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required; previous travel experience required for outpatient positions
• Hand therapy certification preferred but not required unless specifically noted
• Required certification: BLS
• Must be a collaborative team player, comfortable communicating with others, and willing to contribute to a team-oriented environment
