Opportunity:
Acute Care PT
Job Details:
• 8 or 10-hour shift options available
• 1:1 patient ratio
• No on-call required
• No weekends required
• No block schedules required
• No floating between units
• 8 orientation hours required
• Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy
• Charting system experience required; Epic charting system used
• At least 1 year of experience required
• Compact license must be in hand at submission
• Required certification: BLS
• Required skills include: Acute Care, Body Mechanics, Post-op cervical surgery, Post-op shoulder repair, Post-op spinal surgery, Spinal Conditions, Total hip replacement, Total knee replacement, Cognitive disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, Post Stroke Rehabilitation, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Home Exercise Program, Patient/family education, Gait training, and Hip fractures/injuries
• Licensed nursing personnel must wear solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire (print tops not acceptable)
• Unlicensed personnel must wear solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire (print tops not acceptable)
• Free parking available in unrestricted surface parking lots designated for Employee/Visitor Parking
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process and prior to start
• May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
