Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience required in high acuity and high pace environment
• Highly prefer RNs with 5 years of high risk experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Work every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Float required to Post partum/Antepartum and may float to sister facilities for Mother/Baby
• Schedule posted every 6 weeks to meet unit needs
• 36 hours of orientation required
• Must function as Baby Nurse during delivery and continue newborn care until transfer to postpartum
• Must be able to circulate for C-sections
• Provide newborn care including eye care, Vitamin K injections, thigh injections, and newborn assessments
• Work with high risk/high volume Labor & Delivery cases of all types
• Handle average daily census of 15 patients per day with 500-600 deliveries per month
• Work in 31 rooms/31 beds with 4 operating rooms
• Must have experience with EPIC electronic fetal monitoring system
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate
• Must provide care for neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
• Work with medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
