Opportunity:

RN - Step Down / Telemetry

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:3/4 depending on acuity
• Could work up to every other weekend
• 24-bed step down unit with high throughput as expected in step down settings
• Patient population includes dysrhythmias, cardiopulmonary conditions, sepsis, high flow O2 needs, and behavioral patients requiring IV drip medications
• Administer and monitor medication drips including dopamine, levophed, cardizem, heparin, precedex, nitro, amiodarone, dobutamine, and nicardipine
• Charting system: EPIC
• Acute care setting with Trauma Level 2 designation
• Cancellation policy: 3 shifts per 13-week or longer contract; 2 shifts per 12-week or shorter contract
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• BSN not required
• Valid nursing license required for submission
