RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with 4 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:1 for immediate post-surgical patients and 1:2 for POD 1-3
• Primary nursing model utilized on unit
• Schedule requires 36 hours per week with 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
• Floating policy requires maintaining the same patient ratio as the unit floated to
• Must have 1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients with direct primary recovery
• Advanced skills required: ACLS, balloon pump, Impella training, Hemosphere or Acumen trained
• Work within a new cardiac surgery program launch
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
• Required certification: ACLS
• Required dress code: Navy Blue scrubs
