Opportunity:

Perioperative RN

Job Details:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts; 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts may also be a possibility
• Position floats between units based on department needs within surgical services
• On-call required: 8 days per month including variable call on weekends and nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Every 3rd or 4th weekend required depending on rotation and time off requests
• Block schedules not required
• Patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:4
• 2-room OR with specialties including OBGYN, Ortho, GI/GS, ENT, Pain, and Dental
• Position covers all areas within the surgery department: Pre/Post-op, Circulating, PACU, and Endo
• Must be well-rounded in surgical services and able to follow the patient through from pre-op to discharge if required
• Must be able to circulate C-sections (hard stop requirement)
• Experience working in a critical access hospital required
• Must be flexible to work in either department within surgical services
• Patient age groups served: Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics
• EMR system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Any color; OR scrubs provided
• Parking: No fee
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Valid MT or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, provided during the compliance process and prior to start

Facility:

This is a Critical Access Hospital with 22 total staff beds offering a full surgical services department including Pre/Post-op, Circulating, PACU, and Endoscopy. The facility operates a 2-room OR supporting a range of surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, C-sections, and dental procedures. Interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services.
