Opportunity:
Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 1 year of experience in radiation therapy required
• Travel experience required
• Position requires coverage at two locations approximately 15 minutes and 10 miles apart
• Block schedule accommodations available
• Required certifications: ARRT-T, BLS
• Epic/Excellian charting system experience required
• Scrub color: Grey
• Operate and work with 4 Varian TrueBeam units (2 with and 2 without EDGE packages), 2 GE CT SIM units, Align/Vision RT, and CBCT/Triggered Imaging equipment
• Treat both inpatient and outpatient populations including pediatric patients
• Treat a wide range of diagnoses including breast, brain primary, brain benign, brain metastases, lung, SABR lung, palliative metastases, prostate, and GI/GU cases
• Perform special procedures including SRS, SBRT, SRT, and DIBH Breast treatments
• Perform low dose radiation therapy for osteoarthritis
• Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Float required to cover both department locations

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma certification. With 672 total staffed beds, the facility offers a comprehensive range of interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams. The radiation therapy department holds multiple prestigious accreditations including APEX, Joint Commission, Commission on Cancer, and NAPBC accreditations, reflecting a strong commitment to high-quality, specialized cancer care.
