Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 1 year of experience in radiation therapy required
• Travel experience required
• Position requires coverage at two locations approximately 15 minutes and 10 miles apart
• Block schedule accommodations available
• Required certifications: ARRT-T, BLS
• Epic/Excellian charting system experience required
• Scrub color: Grey
• Operate and work with 4 Varian TrueBeam units (2 with and 2 without EDGE packages), 2 GE CT SIM units, Align/Vision RT, and CBCT/Triggered Imaging equipment
• Treat both inpatient and outpatient populations including pediatric patients
• Treat a wide range of diagnoses including breast, brain primary, brain benign, brain metastases, lung, SABR lung, palliative metastases, prostate, and GI/GU cases
• Perform special procedures including SRS, SBRT, SRT, and DIBH Breast treatments
• Perform low dose radiation therapy for osteoarthritis
• Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Float required to cover both department locations

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma certification. With 672 total staffed beds, the facility offers a comprehensive range of interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams.
