Job Details:

• Rotate between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology in a split lab environment
• Call schedule includes 9-10 call shifts per 6-week schedule, including weekends
• Weekends are included in the call schedule
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed, including Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• If one or two major holidays fall during assignment, no holiday time off can be requested; if three major holidays fall during assignment, one holiday time off may be considered
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Daily census of 16 patients across 3 rooms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and ARRT R or CCI RCIS
• Required skills include but are not limited to: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Angioplasty, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Stent Placement, Cardioversion, Carotid Stenting, Central Venous Access, Hemodynamic Monitoring, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, IVC Filter Placement, Pacemaker Insertion, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), PTCA, Right and Left Heart Catheterization, Interventional Radiology, Embolization, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, TIPS, Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) of the Liver, Liver Biopsy, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, PICC Lines Care and Maintenance, Sterile Technique, and use of Rapid Response/Code Teams
