Opportunity:

RN - Ortho/Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Every other weekend or 2 weekend shifts per schedule required
• Holiday rotation participation expected
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with 3 CNAs per shift
• 22-bed Orthopedic/Telemetry unit caring for patients with joints, replacements, and fractures
• Must have strong orthopedic experience including Total Joint Replacement (not just fractures)
• Telemetry present on unit; RNs are not required to read strips
• Charge Nurse available 24/7
• RNs are not required to titrate drips
• RT and equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and High Flow used as needed
• Floating may be required to units 7E, 7W, 10W, and 10E
• 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Charting system: EPIC
• BSN not required
• Required certification: BLS
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility

Facility:

This acute care facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center offering comprehensive inpatient services across multiple specialized units. The orthopedic and telemetry unit consists of 22 beds and provides care for patients undergoing joint replacements, fracture management, and other orthopedic procedures. The facility utilizes EPIC as its charting system and maintains 24/7 charge nurse coverage to support staff and ensure high-quality patient care.
