Opportunity:
Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Monday through Friday day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekends, no on-call, no float requirements
• Fast-paced clinic environment with approximately 35 treatments per day
• Treat adult and geriatric patients with cancer diagnoses
• Work with one Varian treatment machine and one departmental CT simulator
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Social Services
• 8-hour orientation required
• Wine/burgundy scrubs required, not provided by facility
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 1 year of experience required, 3 years preferred; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT/ARRT T, BLS (AHA only, no HeartCode), CRT
• Required experience: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Custom Molds, Custom Shield, Block Cutting, CBCT/kV/mV Imaging, Wedges, Benign Brain Tumors, External Beam Therapy, Gynecomastia, IMRT, Keloids, Prophylactic Treatments, Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials, Respiratory Gating, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Superior Vena Cava, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Pancreatic Cancer, Testicular Cancer, Varis-Vision/ARIA, TrueBeam, Varian 21 ex/ix, Varian Trilogy, Varian TrueBeam Edge, Defibrillators, Radiation Safety, Use of Rapid Response/Code Teams
• Preferred experience: CT Simulation, Tumor Localization, Calculate Dose of Radiation, Eclipse (Varian), Craniospinal, Graves Disease, Heterotopic Bone, Kidney Cancer, ARIA, GE, Philips, Siemens, Vision RT, Care of Patient in Restraints, Chart Check, Crash Cart, Emergency Cases, Field Shaping, IV Starts, Patient/Family Teaching, Isolation Precautions, Management/Lead Experience
