RN - OR

Job Details:

• On-call shifts are 12 hours; weekday on-call runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and weekend/holiday on-call runs either 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call coverage is divided evenly among approximately 15 RNs
• Weekend coverage for on-call support only
• Floating may be required to other campuses within the same service line
• Caseload is approximately 30% inpatient, 70% outpatient, and 10% pediatrics
• Facility handles approximately 20 cases per day across 10 operating rooms
• Patients treated include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and spine
• Circulator experience required in ENT, total joints, neuro/spine, OB-GYN, orthopedics, plastics, and robotics
• Scrub experience required for trauma, vascular, and robotic surgery cases
• Orthopedic sports medicine experience required; scrub experience preferred
• Robotics and ENT experience strongly preferred; ENT with endoscope experience and scrub experience preferred
• Required skills include robotics, procedural sedation, blood/blood products administration, drain management, epidural pumps, PICC/central lines, Port-A-Cath/vascular device access and care, and wound vac
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS preferred

This facility is a well-established healthcare organization offering a comprehensive surgical services program across multiple campuses. The operating rooms support a high volume of complex surgical procedures spanning orthopedics, spine, robotics, ENT, vascular, trauma, and gynecology. The facility is equipped with advanced robotic surgical technology and provides care across a broad patient population including pediatrics through geriatrics.
