Opportunity:

Acute Care PT

Job Details:

• 8 or 10-hour shift options available
• Weekend rotation required with full-time therapy staff
• No on-call required
• No floating between units
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Acute care experience is required - minimum 1 year of experience required
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Charting system experience required - Epic
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy
• Required certification: BLS
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• 8 hours of orientation
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
• Dress code: Licensed nursing personnel must wear solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire; print tops are not acceptable
• Free parking available in any unrestricted surface parking lots designated for Employee/Visitor Parking
• Required skills include: Acute Care, Body Mechanics, Gait Training, Home Exercise Program, Patient/Family Education, Orthopedics, Neurology, Post-Op Care, Total Hip and Knee Replacement, Spinal Conditions, and Traumatic Brain Injury
