Opportunity:
Radiology - NUC MED - PEN
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts Monday through Thursday
• Weekend and holiday call requirements
• Call or standby requirement included
• Acute care setting
• Department has 4 scanners/rooms
• Average of 6-10 scans/studies performed per day
• Perform cardiac, HIDA, gastric empty, parathyroid, thyroid, thyroid therapy, and DAT imaging studies
• Start IVs as required by department
• Work with GE and Siemens department specific equipment
• Use EPIC charting system and Synapse/PACS imaging software
• Experience in a high-paced Nuclear Medicine department required
• No floating or covering other areas required
• Radiologist available in-house
• Solid color scrubs required - no prints or graphics; scrubs not provided
• Must be within 60 miles radius; driver's license must be submitted
• Must be in state for week of orientation
• Agency must provide traveler Rad Badge
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification)

This acute care facility houses a fully equipped Nuclear Medicine department with 4 scanners and rooms, supported by an in-house radiologist. The department utilizes advanced imaging technology including GE and Siemens equipment alongside EPIC and Synapse/PACS systems to deliver comprehensive nuclear medicine services. The facility maintains a high-paced environment performing a wide variety of imaging studies and is committed to providing quality patient care.
