Opportunity:
RN - LDRP
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care required
• Float between units as needed
• Staffing ratio of 1:1-3
• Care for patients including Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn
• Perform and assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and circulate in the OR
• Start adult IVs and administer blood and blood products
• Manage drains, epidural pumps, and PCA pumps
• Administer insulin, magnesium sulfate, and antihypertensives
• Operate and work with specialized equipment including High Risk Antepartum, High Risk L&D, LDRP, Low Risk Antepartum/LD, OB-GYN, Post-Op/Pre-Op, and Couplet Care
• Charting system experience required; Epic experience required
• Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Required skills: Circulation, FHM, IV Start, sterile vaginal exam, triage of obstetrical patients, use of IUPC placement and calibration, use of PCA (IV), and isolation precautions/PPE

This facility is part of a large, well-established health system offering comprehensive women's health and maternity services. The unit supports a broad scope of obstetric care including high-risk antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. The facility delivers between 200-300 births per month and provides an interdisciplinary environment with access to advanced medical support and resources.
