Opportunity:

Therapy / OT Pediatrics

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Block scheduling with no weekend requirements
• Caseload of approximately 8-10 patients per day with 8-9 hours of direct patient care in a 10-hour shift
• Treat patients 1:1 for 60-minute sessions with paperwork time provided for EPIC documentation throughout the day
• Work with patient populations including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays, genetic syndromes, coordination disorders, post-injury/surgery, TBI, and feeding challenges
• Patient age groups include infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team with OT, PT, and ST colleagues, focusing on family-centered care and goals
• Utilize suspended equipment with crash pads and mats, spider cage, red cord, splint and cast supplies, NMES, hypervibe, and other therapy equipment
• Document using EPIC charting system
• No floating between units required
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT
• Active NJ OT License required

Facility:

This large outpatient clinic is part of a larger hospital system offering pediatric therapy services in a collaborative, team-based environment. The facility features multiple large gym areas with ample space for suspended equipment, crash pads, and mats, along with a wide variety of specialized therapy equipment to support diverse patient needs. Therapy aides assist in gathering and cleaning equipment between sessions, and schedulers manage caseload assignments to support the clinical team.
