Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week assignment
• 100-mile radius rule applies
• Work within the Oncology Department
• Operate Varian TrueBeam and IX linear accelerators as well as Aria software
• Minimum one year of radiation therapy experience required
• Specific experience and training in Radiology preferred
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology required
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BCLS certification required
• New York state license in hand required prior to start
• Must possess knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Must maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal law
