Job Details:

• Primarily night shift position with potential to fluctuate to days based on unit needs
• Weekends required with a minimum of every other weekend
• No on-call required
• No block schedules required
• Patient ratio of 1:5 with day, night, and weekend ratios of 1:4
• Self-scheduling type
• May float between units to meet unit needs
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
• Strong primary nurse skills required - Rural ED setting
• 1 year of experience required; travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Scrub color: Any color
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS (NRP highly preferred)
• Valid WA or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Treats patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Key skills include triage, IV management, management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation, BiPAP/CPAP management, and care of ventilated patients
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted at time of submittal

Facility:

This critical access facility operates with 23 total staff beds and maintains a daily census of 10 to 15 patients. The emergency department features 9 beds across 5 rooms and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, phlebotomy, interpretation services, and unit secretary support. The facility is equipped with Epic charting and offers free parking for staff.
